Testimonials

Steve Bannister and his team did a wonderful job in my bathroom. I needed my bath taken out and a walk in shower fitted. I had a few quotes from other companies, but SBS Building and Decorating Services Ltd gave me a reasonable quote that convinced me to use them for my work. I will definitely use them again in the future for any other work.

Exceptional Service from Steve at SBS Building and Decorating Services Ltd Ltd I recently hired Steve from SBS Building and Decorating Services Ltd Ltd to remove an internal wall in my home, and the whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. Steve was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every step of the process, made sure the structural work was properly assessed, and handled all the necessary details with great care and precision. The quality of the work was excellent – the wall was removed cleanly and efficiently, and the space now feels so much more open and modern. Steve and his team were tidy, respectful of my home, and completed the job exactly on schedule. I’m absolutely thrilled with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve and SBS Building and Decorating Services Ltd Ltd to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality building work. A brilliant job all round – thank you!

SBS completely removed the chimney stack from the roof to the downstairs kitchen/dining room. This opened up the rooms for the installation of a new kitchen diner. We were very pleased with the result.

What can I say? We found this company‘s card in a tiling shop, and contacted Steve first of all to do some work at the front of the house with Paving, Steve finished this first and that was a fantastic job so we asked him to do the back which involved a lot of work with fencing, each side and the patio the garden was an absolute mess to start with, and Steve has transformed it into an absolutely amazing environment for us. Steve and his workers are a great bunch of guys. They are respectful. They clean up after themselves and most of all they’re great laugh however they deliver quality work. I would recommend this business to anyone who is having work done whether it be structural or fencing or patios, Steve and his team can put their hand to anything. Thanks again, Steve and team for a fabulous job. Best regards Vince and Gill.

The new chimney sits proudly on the roof. It has been very well constructed with neat lead flashing and made out of bricks carefully chosen to match the original of the house. ( in fact Steve told me they were cheaper than the ones they had originally planned to buy). His team worked well: no fuss ; polite and trustworthy. Very satisfied.

I would go back to Steve the next time I need some building work and I would recommend very highly.

We asked Steve to install a new shower room for us. Steve and his build team are polite, courteous, and very friendly. Steve’s quote was exactly what we paid. The quality of his work is outstanding – we are really happy with our new shower room! (We have now asked him to be the builder for our house extension!).

Steve is very professional at what he does, he is reliable and friendly, we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

SBS completely refurbished our roof which included new guttering, new tiles, built a new chimney, pinned an external wall to our fourth bedroom. They then installed a velux window in our kitchen which was a demanding piece of work. All aspects of their work were excellent. Professional and informative at all times. Careful and helpful explanations of options. Five star service.
